H-1B Premium Processing for certain physicians available

As a relief to many concerned hospitals, foreign medical graduates and patients, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that effective June 26, 2017, they will resume accepting Premium Processing requests for H-1B petitions seeking a Conrad 30 or IGA (Interested Government Agency) Waiver. Despite some relief in the final step of a Conrad 30 or IGA Waiver application, there are still several preliminary steps that require time and preparation to successfully complete.

Unfortunately for the many other pending or future H-1B petitions, Premium Processing is not yet generally available again and there is no announcement as to when such a benefit will resume.
